Dried fruits are picked during their season and desiccated in order to be preserved. They are eaten in winter and have lots of health benefits. These dried fruits can be obtained by decreasing water content of the fruits from 90 percent to 10-20 percent. After this process, fruits would become high in sugar content and less in water content and they would become more durable. They are rich in fibers and easy to digest. They are invaluable snacks for people following a diet.
