Contrary to popular myth, “periodontosis” (also known as receding gums) is a common disease and it has many reasons and unfortunately, there is no cure for receding gums in modern medicine. Moreover, many people don’t prefer surgical operation for that disease since they don’t know that progression of this disease may even cause tooth loss.

Your teeth and smile is the most important part of your appearance. If you don’t brush your teeth regularly and when your tooth starts to ache, then you brush your teeth harshly for 3-4 days. It feels like when you brush your teeth harsh enough, your toothache will disappear. So after 4 days of this adventure costs you much. Some part of your gums have already started to recede. Also, when buying a toothbrush, it feels like if you buy a toothbrush with firmer bristles, it will be more effective for removing plaque and protecting teeth. But you should know that many dentists recommend soft-bristled and extra-soft bristled toothbrush. Dental care is not only about teeth, but it is also about your gums since teeth stand with gums around them.

Not only brushing mistakes cause receding gums, there is also a specific type of bacteria that cause this disease. This type of disease can be seen from 13 years old to adults and it may also affect mandible (lower jaw) with inflammation. Progression of this disease may also cause teeth loss because there won’t be any gum holding your teeth. There are also minor reasons for periodontosis such as old age and crooked teeth.

Thyme is wonder remedy for these problems and moreover, it is even effective for inflammation. You may feel its effect even in the first week.

Ingredients

  1. Thyme

Directions

The smell of the thyme may inform you about its freshness. Try to buy thyme that has a strong and distinctive smell if you don’t find anywhere reliable.

Method

Boil a cup of water in a pot. Since the water amount is low, we must avoid vaporization, to do that you may use teapot while preparing this cure. After boiling, lower the heat and add 2 teaspoons thyme and continue boiling over low heat for 5 minutes. After cooling, filter the cure.

This cure must be prepared every day, new and fresh. After 24 hours, the cure will be ineffective. So please avoid preparing big amounts of the cure to store and use some other time.

Brush your teeth with this cure and try to avoid eating and drinking after using this cure. I don’t recommend touching this cure with your toothbrush, so take a sip of the cure and then brush your teeth.

Use this cure 2-3 times a day and use it after brushing your teeth, since it may be ineffective if you brush your teeth right after using this cure. It will be more effective if you can use 3 times.
