You can make this nice-looking crystal at home with some easy steps. Safety comes first as always, we are going to use a chemical so you should use rubber gloves and safety glasses not because our mixture will explode but just in case -> YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

1. Boil Water

You need 4 cups water.

2. Get Borax

You can buy this at Walmart or any other re-sale store for about $5.00. I don’t know if Borax is available in your country. I wish I was Walter White but I have no idea what Borax contains or what can be used instead of Borax.

3. Add Borax Into Boiling Water

You need to use 1/3 of the box to get a good and big crystals. After adding borax, you don’t need to boil the mixture anymore.

4. Get Pen, String And Pipe Cleaner

You don’t have to use a pipe cleaner but something small and round where the crystals can grow and you can tie a string to it like elastic hair band.

5. Add The Mixture Into A Cup

You should prefer something non-plastic because plastic might absorb borax and become dangerous to use. However, that would be great if you have something you can dispose of after making the crystal. Don’t use thin plastic cups (pet cups) because they probably won’t be able to withstand the hot water and you may spill this chemical mixture all over your work space or your kitchen.

6. Put The Pipe Cleaner Into The Mixture

If you can find any other way to hang the pipe cleaner in the mixture, help yourself.

7. Hang On For A While

Enough with the jokes, let it sit for about 6-8 hours for better results.
