Zebra Cake

  • 3 medium eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/3 cups cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla powder


This recipe is for a medium-size tray.

Blend eggs and sugar within a pot using mixer or hand blender. After a while add oil and milk and continue mixing. Add flour, baking powder and vanilla powder and mix them together properly. After getting a homogeneous mixture, divide the mixture into two pieces and add cocoa powder into one of them and mix it thoroughly.

Pour a little amount of oil onto the tray and spread it all over its face. The hardest and the most important part is pouring mixtures onto tray because zebra pattern will be formed in this part. On the tray, pour one spoon of a plain mixture and one spoon of the cocoa mixture respectively. Continue this process until the mixtures end. If you do pouring process correctly, the cake will have zebra pattern. Finally, bake in a 200 degrees C (392 degrees F) oven for about 25 minutes.
