1. Sparkling Watermelon Dream

Ingredients

  • 10 oz. watermelon
  • 5 strawberries
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups sparkling water

Directions

Remove the seeds from watermelon, most of the blenders are not able to crush the seeds and they remain inside the cocktail. It will be easier to remove them before we begin.

Blend watermelon, strawberries and lemon juice in a blender. You may also 1/2 cup sugar in the blender but you may skip that if you hate calories.

Divide the mixture into 2 cups and then add sparkling water. You may serve it with lemon.

2. Frozen Watermelon

Ingredients

  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1 small watermelon
  • 3 cubes ice

Directions

Peel the watermelon and remove seeds.

Blend ice cream, ice cubes and watermelon in a blender. Keep the cocktail in the refrigerator for 1/2 hours before serving.

3. Watermelon Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 plum
  • 2 peaches
  • 1 slice watermelon (a thick slice)
  • 1/2 cup blueberries

Directions

Blend all of the ingredients in a blender and keep the smoothie in the refrigerator for 2 hours before serving.

4. Watermelon Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 1/2 watermelon
  • 3 lemons
  • 1 1/2 cold water
  • 3 tablespoons sugar

Directions

Peel the watermelon, slice it into small pieces and put them in a blender. Add juice of the lemons, zest of the single lemon, cold water and sugar and blend them together using a blender. Strain the mixture into a bottle and keep it in the refrigerator for 1 hour before serving.

5. Watermelon Iced Tea

Ingredients

  • 6 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons black tea
  • 20 oz. watermelon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 20 ice cubes

Directions

Brew the black tea in 6 cups of water and let it cool. Add sugar and lemon juice in tea and mix them together. Put the tea in a bottle and add fresh mint leaves.

Peel the watermelon and remove its seeds. Puree the watermelon using a fork. Strain watermelon puree and add it to the tea bottle. Keep the mixture in the refrigerator for 2 hours before serving.
