- 1 head cauliflower
- 1 cup bulgur wheat
- 3 scallions, sliced
- 1 onion
- 1 cup flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup white rice, boiled
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground red pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
Wash the cauliflower, remove the stem and break it into florets.
Put the cauliflower florets into a saucepan, add 3-4 cups water and cook them.
Put bulgur wheat in another saucepan, add 2-3 cups water and bring to a boil.
Mash the cooked cauliflower florets with a fork and strain excessive water after cooling.
Mash the strained bulgur wheat with masher or blender and then add all the remaining ingredients.
Put the mixture into the fridge and let it cool for 15 minutes.
Put some oil into a pan and fry them like a vegetable patty.
You may also serve it with some garlic yogurt sauce.
