This recipe is for nearly 20 cookies.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 9 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/3 cups flour
- 1/2 cup walnut
- 2 teaspoons granulated coffee (Nescafé)
- 1 egg yolk
Directions
Crush the walnuts using a blender or pestle and mortar.
Mix butter with half of the sugar using a wooden spoon. Do not use a mixer.
Add flour after sifting, and then add egg yolk and crushed walnuts.
Dissolve coffee within 2 tablespoons teaspoons hot water and add it to the dough and continue kneading.
Rest the dough for 45 minutes in the refrigerator after wrapping it with a stretch film. After 40 minutes, start heating up the oven at 160 degrees C (320 degrees F).
Lay baking (oil) paper over the tray. Take walnut-sized dough pieces and roll it with your hands and finally bend it just a little bit.
After putting cookies on the tray, sprinkle rest of the sugar on cookies. Bake in preheated oven at 160 degrees C (320 degrees F) over for about 15 minutes (Time can vary by oven, you may take cookies when its color starts to turn brown).
