If you don’t want to use cosmetic products that you don’t know, you can make your clay mask at home by yourself. Also, natural products always give the best results, especially about unclogging these pores.

Be Careful While Buying Clay

First of all, the clay you buy must be white or green. Experts suggest using white clay with normal and combination skin, and green clay for oily skin.

After buying proper clay for your skin, you need to grind clay using a blender and after grinding it, test it on your skin, if you feel a lumpy layer on your skin it means our clay is ready to use.

If you are preparing clay mask for dry skin, it is important to add herbal oil in it.

You need to apply the clay mask to your skin twice a week in order to get best results.

Some estheticians also suggest wiping face with a wet cloth before applying clay mask, by doing that you may remove dead skin from your face and prepare it for the mask.

1. Clay Mask For Common Skin

  • 1 tablespoon rolled oats
  • 4 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon clay

Boil 1 tablespoon rolled oats within 4 tablespoons milk. Let it cool until it gets to the room temperature and then add 1 tablespoon clay. Apply the mask over your face and wait for 20 minutes. Finally, wash your face with warm water.

2. Clay Mask For Oily Skin

  • 3 tablespoons clay
  • 2 tablespoons lemon oil
  • 2 tablespoons lavender oil
  • 2 tablespoons mineral water

Mix all the ingredients and apply evenly over your skin. Wait for 20 minutes and wash your face with warm water. If you want to get best results, apply this mask once every 10 days.

3. Clay Mask For Dry Skin

  • 1 tablespoon pot cheese
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • 4 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon white clay

Mix 1 table spoon pot cheese with 1 table spoon white clay.

Mix 4 tablespoons milk with 1 tablespoon sour cream within a different pot. After mixing each of them completely, mix these two different mixtures and apply it over your face. Wash your face with warm water after 20 minutes.

4. Clay Mask For Dry And Normal Skin

  • 2 tablespoons banana (you may also use apple)
  • 1 tablespoon clay
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Crush bananas with a spoon (or grind apples with blender), add them into clay and mix them together. After mixing them add sour cream and olive oil respectively. You can dilute the mixture with water if you get a very concentrated mixture. As same as others, apply it to your skin and wait for 20 minutes and wash it with warm water.

5. Clay Mask For Skin With Acne

  • 1 tablespoon clay
  • 2 tablespoon vodka
  • 1/2 tablespoon aloe juice

Mix all the ingredients within a small pot, if you get a concentrated mixture you can dilute the mixture with water. Apply the mask all over your face and after 20 minutes, wash it with warm water.

6. Clay Mask For Skin With Blackhead

  • 1 tablespoon almond oil
  • 1 tablespoon clay
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice

Mix all the ingredients together and unlike the others, keep the mask on your face for 45 minutes and wash it with warm water.

Cleaning The Masks

Let your mask dry naturally and try not to use facial expressions for a while because it may crack the mask. You can also use rose water while cleaning the mask.
