Summer has come and you don’t want to spend these valuable times in bed, right? Maybe you don’t want to sleep and make the most of the summer by going outside, a little camping or spending more time with your family. You know it is impossible and unhealthy to stay awake for long but what if you can reduce the time you need for sleep and need less sleep than the others? Do you really want to spend your vacation by sleeping until 1:00 PM?
1. Having A Good Breakfast
You might have realized that some breakfasts are powerful enough to get you out of bed, while others keep you in bed even if you wake up. Being hungry make you feel exhausted during the day but unlike lunch or dinner, breakfast is the most important meal that prepares you the coming day. Choosing proper foods for the breakfast also boost your metabolism and you might not even need a coffee.
Let’s assume that you don’t have any coffee left and it is 6:00 AM in the morning, which means you are not in the position to find coffee. Even if it is known to make you gain weight and happy, you may try eating chocolate instead of drinking coffee. Besides, some chocolates are also made of coffee beans, the sibling of coffee; it also gives you energy if happiness isn’t enough. Chocolate can be digested as fast as coffee so it is a good option if you are in a hurry.
You must have already known the digestion of apple. Due to its fructose content, it satisfies sugar need of the body and because of that, gives you the energy you need. If you eat an apple by biting instead of slicing it, it will give your teeth a natural massage. Apple enters digestion system slowly and the digestion of carbohydrates can easily make you feel energetic.
The source of life is also the source of energy. I am not talking about just drinking water but also taking a shower. You can also take a shower whether it is warm or mild but ending it with a cold shower would definitely wake you up. You should also know that water is the most important part of the metabolism. It is so important that if you don’t drink enough water, you cannot boost your metabolism no matter what you eat. You may drink a cup of lemon water as soon as you wake up, half of the cup is lemon juice and the half of it should be water.
You probably didn’t realize it before but your day starts with… ALARM SONG! Some alarm songs are able to wake you up instantly while some of them just make themselves snooze. If you hit snooze button of your alarm every single morning, it is not your fault and you are not alone. When I say “wake you up instantly”, I wasn’t talking about something harsh and make you jump out of bed. Some songs have a deeper meaning and remind you some other things, some of them can make you even dream. You can change your alarm sound once in a while because even if it’s the best song in the world, it is the sound that interrupts your sleep and you will hate it soon enough – that’s why you don’t want to use Game of Thrones theme as an alarm sound anymore.
Another thing about music is; it can make falling asleep easier. I am telling this because sometimes the problem is falling asleep instead of waking up. As soon as you go to bed, you might be thinking about your boss, your tasks or the guy you saw on the bus. Either way, music will make you forget all about those things especially if it is a song that you just heard. Besides, you don’t need to think about them in your bed.
6. Exercise In The Morning
Most of us have no time for exercising in the morning but it doesn’t have to be a high-intensity workout. You can walk as soon as you wake up for a starter. Think about it, what is the first thing you after you wake up? You probably sit on your bed and think about what kind of day you will experience or any other matter you can think of while you walking. Don’t think about those things on your bed; jump out of your bed and wear your shoes. You will have plenty of time to think while walking and maybe you would also see your soulmate making a morning walk. See? You have already become a more social person.
